Where do I even start with this session, it is one of my favorites of all time, hands down. First off I absolutely adore these two! McKenna and Meagan are the sweetest humans and are always down for my crazy ideas for our sessions. This session was INSANELY special for so many reasons.

This cafe is like a second home to me. I helped open it up with my bosses at the time Alexia and Richard (aka my heart, soul and family) — so much love for them it’s insane. I worked for them for years and they ALWAYS pushed me to peruse my dream of photography, they even bought me gear that I still use to this day. What kind of bosses do that?! They believed in me before I did. Forever grateful. I could honestly write a novel on how much those two beautiful humans have thought me about life and love, and how much love they poor into this Cafe and the people that come there. This is a place where you can go an ALWAYS feel welcomed and loved and leave with your heart and belly filled up :p if you are ever in Virginia City, Nevada goooooo check it out! When I told my idea to McKenna about doing a photoshoot here she was so down and told me about the idea of her proposing to M and of course I was so down!!! Lol!

Inside the café there the tables are all done by various creative artists, along with a chalk board table for well, aspiring artists McKenna said she seen that table and instantly knew how she was going to do it! I love Meagan’s reaction, especially when McKenna got down on one knee 🥺

The love that these two have for each other is so deep and real, it fills the room. So many laughs smiles, and sweet moments between these two. It was such an absolute honor getting to capture these special moments and these two love. So much love for you two!! You are truly amazing!

We ended the night laughing, taking photos and of course filling our belly’s with some homemade pazole thank you Troy haha.
